Nexans High-Voltage Cable Manufacturing Facility Announced

The South Carolina Department of Commerce has announced the construction of an $85 million cable manufacturing facility in Berkely County, which is to be constructed by Yeargin Potter Shackelford Construction. The new facility, located in Bushy Park Industrial Complex, is predicted to create up to 200 jobs when complete. 

Nexans, an international cable manufactuing group, will use this facility to construct high-voltage power cables to be used across the globe. 

Yeargin Potter Shackelford has built the only other High-voltage Cable Manufacturing facilities in the United States and is looking forward to continue its success with Nexans.
